Raindrops Detection Sensor Module

The Raindrops Detection Sensor Module is used for rain detection and for measuring rainfall intensity. It is suitable for weather monitoring applications and provides both digital and analog output signals.

This rain sensor can be used to monitor various weather conditions and translate rainfall levels into corresponding output signals. It includes a printed circuit board that collects raindrops. As water accumulates on the board, it forms parallel resistance paths that are measured by the onboard op amp. More water decreases resistance and lowers the analog output voltage. A dry board outputs a higher voltage, typically around 5V.

The module consists of a rain collection board and a separate control board for convenience. It includes a power indicator LED and adjustable sensitivity via a potentiometer. The design is based on the LM393 comparator chip.
