LM393 Sound Detection Sensor Module

The LM393 Sound Detection Sensor Module for Arduino detects whether sound has exceeded a preset threshold. Sound is captured through an onboard microphone and processed by an LM393 op amp to determine if the level crosses the setpoint.

The sensitivity level is adjusted using the onboard potentiometer. When the sound exceeds the threshold, the module’s LED lights up and the output goes low.

Note: This module detects the presence of sound but cannot measure sound intensity or frequency.
