44E Hall Effect Sensor

44E is a switched Hall effect IC designed for contactless switching applications. It includes an on chip Hall voltage generator for magnetic sensing, an amplifier to boost the Hall signal, a Schmitt trigger for hysteresis and noise rejection, and an open collector output.

Applications:
Brushless DC motors, DC fans, DC water pumps, home appliance control panels, sewing equipment, textile machinery, speed sensing, position detection, counting, flow sensors, flow meters, auto ignition systems, safety alarms, and other industrial control applications.

• Working voltage: 3.3 to 5V
• Uses 3144E switch type Hall sensor
• Digital output is low and signal LED turns on when a magnetic field is detected; digital output is high with no magnetic field
• Includes power indicator and signal indicator
• Digital switch output (0 and 1); AO port not used
• Uses LM393 comparator for clean waveform and strong drive capability over 15 mA
