MUP-M6016-01

The MUP-M6016-01 is a specialized memory card socket that uses a Hinge (Flip-Lock) mechanism instead of the common spring-loaded push-push slot. This design is highly favored in automotive electronics, industrial machinery, and handheld rugged devices.

To operate, the user slides the metal cover to the “unlock” position, flips it up, places the Micro SD card on the contacts, closes the lid, and slides it back to the “lock” position. This creates a physical clamp that prevents the card from popping out due to mechanical shock or vibration.

The module stands at an ultra-low profile height of 1.40 mm, making it one of the thinnest Micro SD solutions available for PCB design. It features 8 signal pins and is built with high-temperature LCP plastic to ensure it survives standard SMT reflow soldering processes.
