USB to RS485 Converter Adapter Support WIN7 XP Vista Linux Mac OS

The USB to RS485 Converter Adapter module supports Windows 7, XP, Vista, Linux, and Mac OS, providing an easy to use RS485 interface through a virtual COM port on the system.

There are no command structures needed. Any data sent to the virtual COM port is converted automatically to RS485 and vice versa. The module is fully powered by the USB bus and requires no external power.

This device allows simple control and communication with RS485 devices from a PC. It is plug and play, appears as a standard serial port, and can be accessed by applications or terminal software.

The converter supports half duplex RS485 communication with baud rates from 75 bps to 115200 bps and up to 6 Mbps maximum. No external power supply is required.
