It utilizes a Push-Push mechanism, which allows the card to be easily locked into place and ejected with a simple click. This makes it ideal for devices where the memory card slot is accessed through a small opening in the external casing.

The “12” variant in this series is distinguished by its ultra-slim profile, standing only 1.80mm tall on the PCB. It includes an integrated Normally Open (N/O) detection switch, which changes state upon card insertion to alert the system’s processor. The connector’s shell is made of stainless steel to provide a strong mechanical frame and EMI shielding, while the 8 signal pins are gold-plated to ensure high-speed data integrity over time.
