MUP-U5401-02

The MUP-U5401-02 is engineered for stability and a minimal footprint. By standing vertically, it allows designers to place the USB port in the center of a board or near components where a side-entry port would be physically blocked.

This model features a 7.40mm x 5.15mm footprint and stands 2.37mm wide (profile thickness). It utilizes three DIP (Dual In-line Package) metal legs that pass through the PCB to provide high mechanical strength against the leverage of a vertical cable. The “No-Ear” shell design ensures a sleek, flush fit within device housings. It is constructed with high-temperature LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer), ensuring it can withstand reflow soldering temperatures up to 260¡C.
