The AT45DB161E-SSHF-T is designed for efficient data logging and sequential access applications. Unlike standard random-access Flash, it uses a page-erase architecture (as small as 256 bytes) and incorporates two independent SRAM buffers that allow for simultaneous data reception while a page in main memory is being reprogrammed. This “System Enhancing” memory supports Byte-write capabilities, effectively providing Serial EEPROM functionality within a Serial NOR Flash device. It also features advanced security options, including a 128-byte One-Time Programmable (OTP) security register with a unique 64-byte factory-programmed ID.
